Josh Berrus

Josh Berrus serves as minister of worship at Open Door and his ministry passions include worship, teaching and discipleship. He is a graduate of Cedarville University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and he
continues theology studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before coming to the Triangle, Josh served as a music minister in Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. In his free time, he enjoys jogging, skiing,
traveling, hanging out with friends, Starbucks coffee, reading and music. Josh desires to love God and disciple believers and prays many will join him in this journey.

David Burton

David is the Creative media Director for Providence Baptist church and has been on staff there for 4 years. His experience includes full systems integration, Design, and installation, as well as helping to build, and launch the Pax Network located in Clearwater Florida. David has also worked on many remote productions, that included Presidential visits, as well as managing and planning Prison Fellowship teams, to provide sound support for Chuck Colson’s ministry. David has also been a volunteer in the media teams at his former church in Florida for over 12 years. He is married to his wife of 23 years and has one Son 21. He also enjoys playing drum with the Worship teams when time allows.

Glenn Collinge

Glenn Collinge started in the pro sound reinforcement industry in 1976. In 1981, he began installing broadcast video and A/V projects for a large integration company in Atlanta, Ga. Starting in 1988, he became a sales consultant for several companies designing presentation systems for corporate and educational applications. Since 1992, he has worked for various manufacturers; currently with FSR Inc. Glenn has had the privilege of serving in the audio and video ministries in his church since 1992.

Travis Cottrell

Nationally renowned worship leader, Travis Cottrell has led worship for Josh McDowell, Anne Graham Lotz, and currently, Beth Moore conferences.  "Friend of God", "In Christ Alone", and "The Lamb Has Overcome" are a few of his popular arrangements.  Singer and songwriter, his music collections have received Dove award nominations.  Embracing the traditional hymns and contemporary choruses of today, Travis uses a blended style to help lead everyone into worship.

Todd Foster

Todd Foster has been the monitor engineer for Bellevue Baptist church in Memphis, TN for the last 12 years. He makes his living as Director of Systems Sales at Quest Marketing. Quest is a manufacturer's representative in the Southeast, representing product lines such as EAW, Mackie, Beyerdynamic, and Auralex.

Gary Gunn

Gary spent 10 years as a full time minister of music.  In addition, he spent 18 years as a sound contractor in Nashville specializing in House of Worship Designs and Installations.  Gary has taught audio acoustics and system design at Ridgecrest Baptist Conference Center and Glorieta Baptist Conference Center for 18 years.  He spent 3 years as a manufacturers representative before moving to his current positions with AKG as Marketing Development Manager for Install and Touring Sound.

Todd Foster

Tim Haas

Tim, a native of Boone, North Carolina has over 20 years of experience in video production, 17 years for ministries.  Prior to coming on staff at Providence, he worked with Samaritan's Purse International Relief, and most recently with Church Initiative, a local ministry that offers DivorceCare, GriefShare, DC4K and other recovery ministry tools to churches. Tim and his wife Christie have been married 16 years and have 2 teenage boys.

Eric Hamsho

Eric has served as the Associate Pastor of Worship and Music at Providence Baptist Church for over five years.  Eric’s vision and desire to collaboratively create an atmosphere for worship that glorifies our Lord with his staff is evident as the fruits of the ministry continue to grow having over 200 volunteers including the choir, orchestra, worship teams, sound and media ministry, dance ministry, drama ministry, and soloists.  Eric is a graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill., where he earned a Bachelor of Music and Elective Studies in business. Eric has also served as the Associate Pastor Of Worship and Music at Hudson Community Chapel in Hudson, Ohio. Eric and his wife, Stacia, have three children.

David Horner

David Horner is the senior pastor of Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he has served since the church began in 1978. A graduate of Wake Forest University (BA, 1974) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M. Div., 1977), David's primary ministry focus has been equipping others for ministry, within the local congregation as well as in the broader body of Christ. David and his wife, Cathy, have been married since 1973 and have three grown sons and a daughter-in-law.

Beth Hunnicutt

Beth Hunnicutt is Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Garner where she has served for 23 years. She is married to Jim and is the mother of four children.  The Lord has used her to develop and lead a worship ministry for children through Senior Adults of 420 people including choirs, praise teams, orchestra and drama.  Her passion is to lead God’s people to grow in their love for Jesus and in their desire to worship Him in spirit and truth. 

Joel Leath

Joel serves at Providence Baptist Church as Assistant Pastor of Community Ministries. Prior to joining the Providence team, Joel served as Assistant Pastor and Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel Four Winds in Red Bank, N.J. He served for 18 years with New Directions International, touring the United States as part of an evangelistic music team. Joel is a native of Burlington, N.C., and attended Elon University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion. Joel and his wife, Sonia, have three children.

Jesse Lewis

Jesse Lewis is President of WorshipFilms.com, a Christian company that produces a wide range of video products for church services.  He has years of experience in local and church video production, and is a frequent seminar/workshop speaker on topics relating to multimedia in worship.

Kent Margraves

Kent Margraves spent many years as a professional church audio director and loves all aspects of worship sound.  He now serves the worship market for Digidesign’s Live Sound division and operates TCG Media part-time, which is focused on helping churches achieve excellence in audio through training and contract mixing.

Larry Mayo

Dr. Larry Mayo is Associate Professor of Music at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and serves part-time as the Orchestra Director at Providence Baptist Church.  He served as full time orchestra director in churches in the Atlanta area for over 17 years prior to coming to Raleigh 2-1/2 years ago.  He has also conducted orchestra clinics at the state and national level.  Dr. Mayo received his Bachelor and Masters degrees at Florida State University and his doctorate from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville in Trumpet Performance and Conducting.  He and his wife, Susan, have one daughter.

Brian Megilligan

Brian is currently on staff at Providence working with rhythm sections and vocal teams.  In  addition to working with these groups, he spends time arranging orchestrating and planning services.  Brian has a music education degree from Cedarville University and a MA in Music Theory from Kent State University and has been in church music ministry for over 10 years.  He has a wife, Janet and three kids, Austin(8), Lindsey(5) and Reece(3) and reside in north Raleigh.

Shelly Moore

Shelly graduated from North Carolina State College of Design, with a Bachelor¹s Degree in Art and Design. While in college, she began co-writing with friends in ministry and soon after started the Shelly Moore Band alongside Mike Passaro. The band has released 2 full-length records and has a brand new release, Hope and Decay, March 2007.

David Nelson

David serves as Senior Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has over twenty years of experience in local churches as both Worship Pastor and Senior Pastor. He frequently speaks on the doctrine and practice of worship in churches and conferences. His publications on the subject of worship include contributions to Looking into the Future (Baker) and Authentic Worship (Kregel), and the entry for “Worship” in the Holman Illustrated Bible Commentary. He is a member of Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina and is a husband and father of three.

Jonathan Parker

An avid musician (Keyboards & Vocals), having written, performed and recorded with local Christian bands in AZ.  Jonathan has held various sales and marketing positions and presented on various audio topics with Top audio manufacturers the last 20 years such as Crown, Bose, TOA and Martin Audio.

Mike Passaro

Mike is on staff part-time with Providence where he is a worship leader, acoustic guitarist, and drummer.  He has a BS in Communication, as well as a minor in Religious Studies
from North Carolina State University.  He spends most of his time as a member of the Shelly Moore Band, where he is a songwriter/guitarist.  SMB has two full-length recording projects
to date, as well as appearances on several compilations, and a third record to release in March 2007.  

Daniel Renstom

Daniel Renstrom works with the college ministry at Providence Baptist Church. He grew up in Cleveland, OH, graduated from Liberty University in 2002, and is currently pursuing an MA in Christian Ethics at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He and his wife Danielle have a 5 month old daughter, Bennett, and 3 aloe plants that have overtaken the windowsill of their kitchen.  Daniel likes coffee, music and books…in that order.  His goal in life is to become like Eric Hamsho.

Larry Thompson

Accepted Christ in 1959, grew up in Memphis Tennessee, served as a missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ International, love blues music and play blues harmonica and the euphonium. Career Highlights Include: BFA from the University of Memphis with an emphasis in Communication Design. Art Director – Motion Picture Laboratories. Films, animation, titles, TV commercials. Designer – Campus Crusade for Christ International. Art Director – Campus Crusade for Christ International. Instructor – taught design for three and a half years at the University of California San Bernardino.  Founder and Owner – Larry Thompson Design | Marketing Communications Group | Thompson & Thompson.  Art Director – WRAL-TV, Capitol Broadcasting Company, Inc.  Director of Communications – Colonial Baptist Church.  Founder and Partner – Gravitation Studios

Matthew Webb

Matt joined the staff at Wake Cross Roads in February of 2005. Before coming to the Triangle, Matt served churches in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It is Matt's desire that we as the Church cultivate a generation
of authentic worshipers who understand that glorifying God is at the centerof worship in spirit and truth. It is his belief that the arts were created by God for His glory and that Christians should pursue artistic excellence
as they seek to honor and glorify the Master Artist.

Matt graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Music and Philosophy and is currently pursuing a master's degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Matt has completed additional studies in music
at the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Eastman School of Music.

Chuck Walthall

Chuck is founder and president of Walthall & Associates, Inc., a Pensacola, Florida based corporation specializing in acoustics, design-consulting and system management; providing 28+ years of knowledge and experience in the technical systems industry.  Mr. Walthall serves as an adjunct professor of acoustics and audio technology at Okaloosa-Walton Community College / The University of West Florida, where he instructs courses, develops courses and facilitates on-line distance learning curriculums. Mr. Walthall has, to his credit, over 275 completed projects and holds 3 earned state low voltage licenses.
